Alrighty everyone, in a hope to add more interactivity for everyone, I'm reposting Jambe's "Make me a forum posting superstar" post (ok, that's not what he called it, but I thought it was mo-funnier). If you'd like to post something interesting, newsworthy (within site guidelines of course), or just plain cool or interesting to the masses, read the tutorial and submit your offerings for review. If it is something that is on a timeline, please plan accordingly and or PM myself to let me know it needs reviewed and approved for public consumption. Remember, this is your forum, your club. Lets keep it strong and fresh with new content from YOU! Just make sure it's big and not something that can fall under a post on the forums.  Alright everyone, it's crunch time! Xarius is feverishly working on an alternate server solution for us, reducing our costs substantially. That being said, we're gonna be pretty darn close over the next few months with the current influx of donations. We really need your help guys. I hate asking for money but the cold hard fact of the matter is that this wonderful place we call home has a cost associated with it. We need to cover that or unfortunately, our little corner of the interweb will disappear. So, I'm asking, if you can afford to, please toss a few bucks OTC's way. Remember, it doesn't take a whole lot if everyone pitches in a little. So, pull up those couch cushions, dig in that car ashtray, work a corner for an hour or so, wait... dont' work a corner. Anyways, you get the idea. We need to see if we can get to $700 to cover the server costs for the next 4 months.
We've been around for a long time guys, I know we can do it if we all pull together and make it happen. There's also a few things we're working on to ensure that the servers are maintained and updated with more regularity. The ability to respond quickly to upcoming games will be the keystone needed to bridge this arch of the OTC, but we can't do it without your support. Thank you so much, Zhurdan - Board member |

The Left4Dead Servers are up! We have two servers currently. One Co-Op and one Versus. As I watch resource utilization I'll add more as needed. The servers are setup to use our steam group id AND a search tag of "otc". Enjoy! Server 1: 72.249.94.10 (27015)
Server 2: 72.249.94.11 (27015) Please let me know if you run across any issues. |
